Kelsey, sharing about the planning for the fourth trimester circle,
Lauren created a fully integrated experience of the postpartum experience. From nutrient dense snacks to breath work and centering practices, she helped us as families truly taste the simple yet profound ways we could already start to prepare for life after our babies were born. Because of this, my view of the postpartum season shifted from being intimidating and isolating to a natural part of the continuum from pregnancy and birth. The course inspired ways that my partner and I can call upon our community to show up in a way that truly serves our needs and inspires deep, long lasting healing. I am so grateful that we got to be a part of this circle and highly recommend it to any families preparing for this stage of life.
Caitlin, sharing about the planning for the fourth trimester circle,
Lauren's warm, steady, and welcoming presence and teaching style made us feel immediately relaxed and at home. The curriculum is very concrete and useful, and is also a wonderful jumping off point for even deeper learning and conversations about the postpartum experience. I found the balance between Lauren's teaching and sharing with others in circle (and the delicious snacks!) to be nourishing and enriching on many levels. Before the class, I felt a bit like my partner and I were being sent alone into the wilds without a map. I think we both have a newfound sense of the territory ahead, and how we want to navigate it together and in community. I am super grateful we participated, and I HIGHLY recommend it!
